Gabriel Kessler graduated in summer 2022 with a Master of Arts degree from the HSLU Design & Art in Lucerne. He works as an art teacher and freelance artist. Gabriel loves plein-air oil painting in the old town (Altstadt), watercolor painting in cafes and sketching on the train.

Workshop Language: German (Gabriel also speaks English, Spanish and French)
We will sketch in the old town (Altstadt) of Zurich. In this course you will learn the basics of sketching or you can deepen your knowledge. Through many quick exercises at the beginning of the workshop you will become loose in dealing with perspective and learn to quickly grasp the rough proportions. We will draw street lines, bridges, houses, churches, trees, cafes and whatever catches your eye. In particular, we will practice drawing people in public places and on the streetcar. People bring your drawings to life. If you ask nicely, most people are happy to be drawn. :-)
